Arizona's newest town

San Tan Valley grew for years as an unincorporated part of Pinal County, and residents first tried to incorporate back in 2005. Voters finally approved incorporation in August 2025, and the town became official on September 17, 2025, when the Pinal County Board of Supervisors seated its first council. With a population around 100,000, it's a big place that's still building its town government.

For our customers, the practical point is this: if a lift needs the truck in a public street, ask the town or Pinal County who handles street-use questions right now. Some cities require a right-of-way or street-use permit; check before lift day.

Planned communities east of the San Tan Mountains

San Tan Valley sits east of the San Tan Mountains, with San Tan Mountain Regional Park on its western edge. Much of it is planned communities such as Johnson Ranch, Pecan Creek South, San Tan Heights and Archer Meadows, connected by roads like Hunt Highway, Gantzel Road and Bella Vista Road.

Planned neighborhoods usually mean HOAs, walled backyards and homes close to their neighbors. That shapes how we set up:

  • The truck typically parks in the street or driveway in front of the house.
  • The load goes over the house into the backyard.
  • Distance from truck to landing spot is the number that matters most.
  • Your HOA may want notice or approval first.

HVAC contractors working San Tan Valley

With this many homes, there's steady replacement work for HVAC contractors. We set heat pumps, package units and condensers and send the old units down in one trip. Have the old unit disconnected, the new one on site with its weight, and the homeowner aware that a crane is coming. See HVAC crane lifts and our contractor page.

For homeowners

We lift spas and hot tubs into walled backyards (spa lifts), stage solar panels on roofs for installers (solar lifts), and set patio-cover trusses, prebuilt sheds and heavy items that won't fit through a gate. If it can't go through the door, over the roof it goes.

Before lift day, clear the landing area, move patio furniture and vehicles out of the way, and make sure pets are inside. A clear path keeps the lift quick and safe.

Frequently asked questions

Do you serve San Tan Valley even though it's far from Surprise?

Yes. San Tan Valley is about 70 miles from our Surprise base, so we confirm details carefully before scheduling. Send the item, its approximate weight, the distance from the truck to the landing spot and photos. Call 602-615-0712 or text 623-258-8361 and Don will confirm whether the lift is a fit.

San Tan Valley just became a town. Does that change permits?

It may. San Tan Valley incorporated in September 2025 and is still setting up town services. If the truck needs to set up in a public street, ask the Town of San Tan Valley or Pinal County who handles street-use questions. Lifts set up on a private driveway are usually simpler.

Can you lift a spa into a Johnson Ranch or San Tan Heights backyard?

Often, yes. Walled backyards in planned communities are a common reason to use a crane. The spa's weight and the distance from the street to the pad decide the lift. Check with your HOA about any approval, have the pad ready and send photos, and Don will confirm before you book.
